Macken Funeral Home – Rochester

Officiant
The Reverend Mr. Lester Horntvedt

Christina, Timothy, Joseph, Arianna, and Matthew are proud to welcome you into our lives as we further share our love for a daughter and sister most beloved.

 Psalms 23:1
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.”
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

We were provided with seven years to prepare her for the Lord.  She knew His Voice and we know Peace!  We have Comfort and she has Rest.

Arianna was just 7, but the brightness of the Lord shown through her each day.  She loved to draw and had completed her first art class.

She loved cats and dogs in particular.  Her stuffed animals will attest to that.

Arianna attained her purple belt in Tae Kwon Do at 6 and would spar with the boys on Friday nights.  Strong and nimble, she was a gymnast before that.

She would have been an Astronaut, or maybe an artist, or perhaps a doctor.  Who can say?  She loved school so much.  All homework for the week was done on Monday before she played.  No later.

John 10:28  "And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand."

Arianna had a love for children and everyone else.  In the car she would wave to anyone looking her way.  With so many friends, she was a real golden girl.

But most of all Arianna had a love for the Lord.  In kindergarten the KJV with all its old English proved no match to her new reading skills.

She loved to talk about God on the way to school and after.  Asking questions, answering them, learning and teaching.

Psa 128:3 Thy wife [shall be] as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.

We could not be more proud of Arianna or her brothers.  They are like manna from heaven.  Fruit that is with us for a season.  We do not fear death nor do we fear life.  Their fruits are His labors.  And His work has been great in all three.  Like our Father, we are well pleased.

Ecc 3:4A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

This ends a chapter in Arianna’s life here with us, but her book reads on for eternity.
